Massage Therapy

What type of massage do we offer?

Sports massage

Sports massage is a remedial massage in which the body's soft tissues are manipulated in order to improve flexibility, enhance sports performance and reduce the risk of injury. This type of massage focuses on an individual's specific requirements and can help to promote recovery after injury.

Swedish or classic massage

Swedish or classic massage aims to help the body rid itself of accumulated toxins by incorporating deep tissue techniques to help stimulate the body’s circulatory and lymphatic systems, together with lighter techniques designed to encourage relaxation and soothe the nervous system. It is ideal for tired and achy muscles.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage originates from India and was originally used to promote good hair growth. The treatment has now evolved and also includes treatment of shoulders, neck, scalp and the face and has many well-known benefits. Treatment helps to release toxins, reduce tension headaches and is particularly good for sinusitis.

Reflexology

Reflexology, the soles of the feet effectively represent a map of the body. Congestion or tension in any part of the foot is mirrored in the corresponding part of the body. Reflexology can bring relief from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. It is also used to restore and maintain the body’s natural equilibrium. Many people complete a course of reflexology for a specific ailment but often continue with regular treatments as a way of maintaining health and well-being.
