Jake qualified from Keele University in 2017 as a Chartered Physiotherapist and began his career working within the NHS at Bedford Hospital. He worked in the Musculoskeletal Outpatients Department for 2 years, before moving into his current role as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.

As a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Jake can assess and analyse a wide range of conditions to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective, evidence-based treatments. Treatment plans are always specific to the individual, considering their goals and promoting self-management. Jake is effective in managing acute, post-operative and chronic conditions, with a particular interest in sports injuries. He has obtained extra qualifications in Sports Taping and Kinesiology Taping and has experience of working in professional sport during his university training. He has also previously worked on both trauma and elective orthopaedic wards.

Jake’s interest in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy originated from many of his own injuries whilst running and playing football - two things he remains enthusiastic about today.
